The 697th day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state continues. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

The situation in operational directions
On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the armed forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, carries out shelling of populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Grafske, Vovchansk, Mykolaivka of the Kharkiv region. About 25 settlements, including Klyus of Chernihiv region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire from the enemy; Marchikhyna Buda, Fotovizh, Atynske, Pavlivka, Kostyantynivka, Sadky of the Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky, Kolodyazne of the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyan direction, our defenders repelled 7 attacks near Sinkivka, Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Ivanivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane settlements of the Kharkiv region . More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestovka of the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled 4 attacks in Terni, Yampolivka districts of the Donetsk region and another 6 attacks near Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the Serebryansk forestry area of the Luhansk region and near the settlements of Yampolivka and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Karmazynivka, Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Serebryanka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repulsed 5 attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanovsky and Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Kostyantynivka, Toretsk, and New York settlements of the Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Vasyukivka, Bogdanivka, Ivanovske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, New York of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiyivka direction, our defenders repelled 5 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepovoy, Avdiivka and another 9 attacks south of Severnoy, Pervomaiskyi and Nevelskyi in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of settlements of Lastochkine, Avdiyivka, Donetsk region. About 10 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Mariinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the districts of Georgiyivka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position 3 times. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Staromayorske and Rivnopil settlements of the Donetsk region. Maximilianivka, Georgiivka, Pobyeda, Novomykhailivka came under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsky direction He carried out airstrikes in the areas of settlements of Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. Bogoyavlenka, Staromayorske, Zelene Pole were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, our defenders repelled 4 attacks west of Verbovoy and Robotiny in the Zaporizhzhia region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions. More than 15 settlements, including Levadne, Gulyaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, and Lobkovo of Zaporizhzhya region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
