On August 25, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a number of successful strikes on enemy positions. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian defenders delivered eight strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons and military equipment, and also carried out four strikes on enemy air defense (ADF) assets. In addition, three missile and artillery systems were hit, as well as the enemy electronic warfare (EW) station “Zhitel”.
Over the past 24 hours, 146 combat clashes were recorded, a third of which occurred in the Pokrovsky direction. In this area, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 42 assault and offensive actions of the enemy in the direction of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Vozdvizhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelene Pole, Myrolyubivka, Kalynove, Marynivka and Novogrodivka. Particularly fierce battles took place near Novogrodivka, where the occupiers carried out two attacks using unguided aviation missiles.
In the Liman direction, the enemy tried to advance 21 times, concentrating its efforts near seven settlements, in particular in the Nevsky district, where nine assaults took place.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy attacks near Karlivka, Nevelske, Pervomayske, Heorhiivka, Mykhailivka, and Kostyantynivka. At the same time, in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian positions were subjected to 15 assaults in the areas of Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, and in the direction of Lozova.
The invaders also attacked 13 times in the Kramatorsk direction, especially actively in the Chasovy Yar area. In the Vremiv direction, there were 10 assaults on our positions near Vodiane, Kostyantynivka and Vugledar. In the Siversky direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled seven enemy assaults near Spirny, Verkhnokamyanske, Viyimka, Bilogorivka and Ivanodarivka. A similar number of attacks were recorded in the Toretsk direction, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked near Nelipivka and Toretsk.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Liptsy and Vovchansk, and in the Prydniprovsk direction, the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions twice, received fierce resistance, suffered losses and were forced to retreat. The enemy also used five guided aerial bombs (GABs) to bomb the Tokarivka area.
On the border with Sumy region, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian settlements. Russian KABs are also exploding in the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where the operation of Ukrainian troops is ongoing.
According to the updated data of the General Staff, on August 25, the enemy carried out two missile strikes using four missiles, 88 air strikes, dropping 142 CABs, and also carried out 4,335 shelling attacks, of which 121 were using multiple launch rocket systems.
