On August 25, aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a number of successful strikes on enemy positions. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian defenders struck eight areas where the enemy's personnel and weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as four strikes against the enemy's air defense systems. In addition, three missile and artillery systems were hit, as well as the enemy radio electronic warfare (EW) station "Zhitel".
During the past 24 hours, 146 combat clashes were recorded, of which a third occurred in the Pokrovsky direction. In this area, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 42 enemy assaults and offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Vozdvizhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelene Pole, Myrolyubivka, Kalinove, Marynivka, and Novogrodivka. Particularly fierce fighting took place near Novogrodivka, where the occupiers carried out two attacks using unguided aerial missiles.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to advance 21 times, concentrating their efforts near seven settlements, in particular in the Nevsky district, where nine assaults took place.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 20 enemy attacks near Karlivka, Nevelskyi, Pervomayskyi, Georgiivka, Mykhailivka, and Kostyantynivka. At the same time, in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian positions suffered 15 assaults in the areas of Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Kolisnikivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, and in the direction of Lozova.
The occupiers also attacked 13 times in the Kramatorsk direction, especially actively in the area of Chasovoy Yar. In the Vremivsk direction, 10 assaults took place on our positions near Vodyanyi, Kostyantynivka and Vugledar. In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled seven enemy assaults near Spirny, Verkhnyokamyansky, Vyimka, Bilogorivka, and Ivanodaryivka. A similar number of attacks was recorded in the Toretsk direction, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked near Nelipivka and Toretsk.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Liptsi and Vovchansk, and in the Dnieper direction, the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions twice, were strongly repulsed, suffered losses and were forced to retreat. The enemy also used five guided aerial bombs (UAB) to bombard the Tokarivka area.
On the border with the Sumy region, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian settlements. Russian anti-aircraft missiles also explode on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where the operation of Ukrainian troops is ongoing.
According to the detailed data of the General Staff, on August 25, the enemy carried out two missile strikes using four missiles, 88 airstrikes, dropping 142 anti-aircraft missiles, and also carried out 4,335 attacks, of which 121 were with the use of rocket salvo systems.
