In the light of recent events, military observer Giorgiy Tuka expressed his point of view regarding possible deliveries of missile systems to Ukraine and cyber threats, in particular the attack on "Kyivstar". According to Tuka, until the Americans decide to supply missile complexes to Ukraine, the Europeans are trying to provide protection by other means.
European countries, in particular Norway and Germany, promise support in air defense systems and missile systems. However, Tuka notes that this does not necessarily indicate Europe's readiness to assume full responsibility for Ukraine's security.
At the same time, the cyber attack on "Kyivstar" causes indignation, but in the expert's opinion, it is not a signal of a global threat or the planning of aggressive actions. Tuka notes that such attacks, although unpleasant, are not directly related to military systems and are not an indicator of the occupiers' intentions to conduct a global offensive.
"It should be understood that military systems, such as air defense systems, do not depend on Kyivstar in any way," says the observer. - Completely different means of communication work there, although such cyber-attacks are another indicator that it is still too early to hold important popular votes or, even more so, elections, with the help of the Internet.
He also looks at the problem not only in missile systems, but also in how state-forming systems exchange important information through the networks of mobile operators, which have become the target of cyber attacks. According to Tuka, this can be a key aspect of security in the face of modern technological threats.
