Germany will allocate 24 million euros for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, supporting regions affected by Russian attacks. According to information, on December 29, the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" and the German state development bank KfW signed a loan agreement for 24 million euros and a grant agreement for 0.5 million euros to finance the restoration of infrastructure facilities.
Germany continues to actively support Ukraine, providing not only financial assistance but also military support. Berlin has previously transferred a variety of weapons to Ukraine, including artillery, Leopard tanks, IRIS-T and Patriot air defense systems, as well as additional Gepard anti-aircraft guns, according to recent reports. Last month, Germany also announced a doubling of military aid to Ukraine in 2024, raising the amount to 8 billion euros.
