The head of the Italian Foreign Ministry called on Ukraine to make concessions for a peaceful end to the war

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice Prime Minister of Italy Antonio Tajani said that Ukraine should be ready to reach compromises for a peaceful resolution of the war with Russia. His words caused a wide resonance, especially in the context of international support for Ukrainian sovereignty.

"If the Russians continue to advance, Zelensky will have to make concessions if he does not want the situation to become even worse," the minister said in a TV interview to be broadcast on the RAI-1 channel.

"The war should end in 2025, as Zelensky said," he added.
