The National Police made the first official comment on the road accident in Brovary, where the head of the local RDA hit four people at the crossing.
The police confirm that the official "did not stop at the prohibitory signal of the traffic light and ran into pedestrians."
"As a result, four people received injuries of varying severity. Among the injured is a child," the comment reads.
"Draeger's breathalyzer test for the driver's alcohol content showed 2.31 ppm. The man was detained," the police also reported.
Who is Maibozhenko, who shot down people in Brovary.
He entered politics in the 2000s, was an assistant to People's Deputy Bohdan Gubskyi in the council of the 4th convocation. Then he passed from Yulia Tymoshenko's party to the Kyiv Regional Council in 2006.
He headed the regional council and managed it for 4 years. Tried to address the parliament from Tymoshenko's party in 2007, but failed.
Then, in the 2010 elections, he was expelled from BYU for manipulations with the party seal. In 2011, he headed the organizational and administrative department of Naftogaz.
In 2015, he entered the Kyiv Regional Council for the second time, already from the "Ukrop" party, the regional branch of which he headed a month before the elections.
