The head of the Reservist Council answered Bezuglii

Due to the lack of personnel, which is one of the current problems of the Ukrainian army, redistribution of personnel has begun in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Military personnel are seconded to units according to actual needs, which became a topic of discussion in society and caused a number of statements from political figures.

The head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ivan Tymochko, confirmed on Kyiv24 that the situation with personnel is really tense, and that is why personnel changes are being carried out in order to secure critical military positions. At the same time, he emphasized that politicians, in particular people's deputies, should not influence the distribution and rotation of military personnel.

"Politicians and deputies have no right to interfere in the processes of rotation or redistribution of military personnel," Tymochko emphasized. — "No general decides where deputies or their assistants will work, so manipulating this topic only creates more misunderstandings."

Tymochka's statements were a response to the words of deputy Maryana Bezuglai, who claimed that the General Staff had transferred a large part of the medical staff from hospitals to infantry units. The General Staff, in turn, explained that the medics were sent to strengthen stabilization points, not the front lines.

Bezugla also reported on the transfer of Air Force servicemen to the infantry. Yuriy Ignat, former Air Force spokesman, confirmed this information, noting that such steps are taken in response to the difficult situation at the front.

Tymochko added that the transfer of troops from artillery or tank units to the infantry is indeed taking place, but this only applies to fighters, and not to specialized teams or gunners who occupy key positions. "Yes, there are challenges when it is necessary to attract fighters from artillery and tank units, but this concerns fighters in the structure of divisions, not artillery specialists," he concluded.

The current personnel deficit forces the command to make difficult decisions that require a flexible approach to personnel resources. Such measures are aimed at optimally distributing forces and strengthening important areas of the front, but at the same time cause concern about the provision of the necessary specialists in specific units.
