Serhii Syrskyi, the commander of the United Forces of Ukraine, decided to send a working group to the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade in order to thoroughly check and clarify the circumstances of the recent losses among the personnel of this military unit.
This is reported by the General Staff.
The day before, paramedic Kateryna Polishchuk (Ptashka) accused the command of the brigade of "deliberate negligence, criminal orders, disregard for the life and health of personnel", which led to the "death of a large number of servicemen".
She specifically blames commander Bohdan Shevchuk, who was appointed to the position in April, as she claims, due to his "family ties" with the top military leadership.
He says that due to his "selfishness, blind careerism, removal of all "disagreeing" commanders, suppression of morale and humiliation of personnel with complete indifference to the main goal of the servicemen, not only fighters died, but also representatives of high management positions.
