The court case, which lasted for several months, led to the release from criminal liability of Yuriy Boyko, the director of one of the largest contractors in the field of "Big Construction". The defendant was accused of forging documents and tax evasion, but the court decided to release him.
The brother of the vice-president of the National Association of Road Workers of Ukraine, Oleksandr Boyk, the founder of Avtomagistral-Pivden and Shlyahovyk-97, which are among the largest contractors of "Big Construction", was released from criminal liability for forging documents and tax evasion.

We are talking about a member of the board of "Automagistral-Pivden" and the director of "Shlyahovik-97" Yury Boyko. He was accused of the fact that in December 2020, Yuriy Boyko included in the tax credit from the value added tax the sums of funds for financial and economic transactions with LLC "Promnafto Trade" and "Wisterion", which were not of a real nature, deliberately evaded payment value added tax for the total amount of 30.88 million hryvnias. Boyko received suspicion only on December 6, 2023.
The investigation of the case lasted for a long time, and then a day before the suspicion was served, his company "Shlyahovyk-97" paid the damages caused to the state (although the exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia was no longer the same as in 2020). Subsequently, the court received a motion from the defendant's defense attorney to release Boyk from criminal liability in connection with compensation for damages.
Also, the defense lawyer asked to release the accused under Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code in connection with the expiration of the statute of limitations for bringing a person to criminal responsibility, since as of January 19, 2024, 3 years have passed since the day the accused businessman committed a minor crime.
Prosecutor from the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office V.S. At the court hearing, Polishchuk left the resolution of this petition to the discretion of the court. The judge of the Primorye District Court, Kateryna Lagoda, decided to grant the request and released the businessman from criminal liability, and closed the case itself.
