MP Oleksiy Honcharenko expressed serious concern over numerous abuses in the state-owned enterprises Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta. According to the MP, the situation is not receiving due attention from law enforcement agencies, which raises serious doubts about the effectiveness of Ukraine's anti-corruption system.
According to Honcharenko, overpricing of oil prices, payment of inflated salaries to top managers, manipulation of charitable funds, and procurement without tenders at inflated prices have become commonplace at enterprises. The deputy drew particular attention to the actions of Serhiy Koretsky, the head of both enterprises, whom he accuses of large-scale financial fraud.
Honcharenko noted that Koretsky spends huge amounts of money on charity:
- 2023 – UAH 1.3 billion;
- 2024 - already about 1 billion UAH.
However, as the MP claims, this money often goes not to treasury accounts, but to private charitable foundations associated with officials. Such a scheme allows, according to Honcharenko, to "buy" loyalty and avoid punishment.
The MP emphasized that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) are in no hurry to respond to identified violations. Even if pre-trial investigations are opened, they are often delayed or transferred to other bodies.
Honcharenko paid special attention to the activities of Olena Krolovetska, a former head of the NABU unit, who now works as a lawyer and serves the interests of Ukrtatnafta. The deputy accused her of influencing decisions that helped keep Koretsky in his position, despite an overpayment of 700,000 hryvnias.
Oleksiy Honcharenko called on NABU and other anti-corruption agencies to conduct a transparent investigation into the revealed facts. He emphasized that impunity at such a critical time for the country looks like a betrayal of national interests.
"When a country is fighting for its existence in a war, such disregard for the law looks like treason. We must put an end to this matter," the deputy summed up.
