People's deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko expressed serious concern about numerous abuses in the state-owned enterprises "Ukrnafta" and "Ukrtatnafta". According to the deputy, the situation does not receive due attention from law enforcement agencies, which raises serious doubts about the effectiveness of the anti-corruption system of Ukraine.
According to Goncharenko, it has become commonplace for enterprises to inflate oil prices, pay inflated salaries to top managers, manipulate charity funds, and purchase without tenders at inflated prices. The deputy drew special attention to the actions of Serhiy Koretskyi, the head of both enterprises, whom he accuses of large-scale financial fraud.
Honcharenko noted that Koretskyi spends huge amounts of money on charity:
- 2023 – UAH 1.3 billion;
- 2024 - already about 1 billion hryvnias.
However, as the deputy states, this money often goes not to treasury accounts, but to private charitable funds connected to officials. According to Honcharenko, such a scheme allows to "buy" loyalty and avoid punishment.
The deputy emphasized that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) are in no hurry to react to the detected violations. Even if pre-trial investigations are opened, they are often delayed or transferred to other authorities.
Goncharenko paid special attention to the activities of Olena Krolovetska, the former head of the NABU division, who now works as a lawyer and serves the interests of Ukrtatnafta. The deputy accused her of influencing the decisions that helped keep Koretsky in office, despite the overpayment of 700,000 hryvnias.
Oleksiy Goncharenko called on the NABU and other anti-corruption bodies to conduct a transparent investigation of the discovered facts. He emphasized that impunity at such a critical time for the country looks like a betrayal of national interests.
"When a country is fighting for its existence in a war, such disregard for the law looks like treason. We have to put an end to this case," the MP summed up.
