In Kyiv, passions have escalated around the Gulliver shopping and office complex. Oschadbank stated that on the eve of the transfer of property to a consortium of banks, unknown persons damaged the complex's critical equipment and life support systems. According to the bank, an artificial blockage of power supply systems was detected, backup equipment was damaged, which led to an emergency shutdown of security systems, and key IT and engineering infrastructure nodes were missing.
The bank reports that due to these problems, the water supply and sewage systems have stopped working, cable networks and alarm systems have been damaged, and technical documentation is missing. Currently, contractors are testing the equipment, and the readiness of the complex must be confirmed by the State Emergency Service. Oschadbank emphasizes that all those responsible will be held criminally liable.
In turn, LLC “Three O”, which previously managed Gulliver, denies any accusations. The company claims that all system outages were initiated by the bank after illegally restricting access to the complex for representatives of “Three O” and tenants. According to the previous manager, there were no accidents or man-made threats under their leadership, and any statements by the bank about intentional damage are false and illegal.
The conflict has a historical basis: LLC "Three O" is associated with the former owner of the shopping center/BC, Viktor Polishchuk, who did not repay the loans to the banks for the construction of the complex and did not pay taxes in the amount of UAH 146 million.
