Today, a car explosion occurred in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk, in which Russian Major Dmitry Pervukha was traveling. The incident caused a significant resonance among the local population and observers.
“On October 18, 2024, at about 11:40 a.m., a UAZ Patriot car exploded in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk. Inside the car was an officer of the Russian occupation army, Major Pervukh Dmitry Vladimirovich. As a result of the explosion, the invader involved in war crimes was destroyed,” the GUR of the Ministry of Defense reported on Telegram.
As noted in the intelligence, Pervukha was in the service of the subordinate General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces 273rd Intelligence Center (military unit 53847), whose permanent deployment point is located in the city of Novosibirsk. In the occupied territories of Ukraine, Major Pervukha held the position of the so-called “Chief of Staff for Troop Service and Military Service Security,” noted the GUR.
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds us that there will be fair retribution for every crime against Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!” the intelligence service emphasized.
