GUR offers Russian soldiers to surrender

According to the report, Russian troops are continuing their offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region, seizing new territories and engaging in hostilities in various directions, in particular near Vovchansk.

"The offensive of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region is on schedule. The situation is difficult, but under control," the HUR said.

Addressing the Russian soldiers, the GUR calls on them to surrender to the Ukrainian military, stressing that this is the only way out in a conflict situation that has too many human losses.

"It can be said that the enemy's actions in this direction began according to the schedule that was known, about which the Main Directorate of Intelligence was informed, as it should be, all the necessary authorities, leadership and command," said intelligence spokesman Andriy Yusov.

According to Yusov, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops engaged the fighters of the Moscow and Leningrad military districts.

He called on the Russians to surrender and added that "a decision has been made to open an additional camp for Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine as soon as possible."
