During the war period, judge Vadym Bosiy became unusually rich - more than a million hryvnias. With this money, he bought an expensive carbine and, it would seem, restored relations with his wife, who is the owner of a luxury apartment.
Journalists compare this story with plots from popular TV series, describing the situation with judge Vadym Bosy as a real "Santa Barbara". When examining his electronic declaration for 2023, it turned out that his wife Kateryna, from whom he was divorced, as noted earlier, returned to him. This raised the question of whether the divorce was actually a sham.
Analyzing the electronic declarations for the years 2022-2023, the journalists found out that Judge Bosiy significantly enriched himself during the war in 2022, saving considerable funds from his salary. His savings in accounts and in cash amounted to more than 2 million hryvnias and almost 25 thousand dollars. 
In the most recent version of the declaration, Judge Bosiy for the first time indicated that he has a son named Petro together with his wife Kateryna. This may indicate that the child was born after their official divorce. It was also noted that the judge spent more than half a million hryvnias on an expensive Cadex CDX-40 Shadow 375 CheyTac carbine.
Vadym Bosiy was previously married to Kateryna Prokopchuk, who worked in various positions in the capital regional council. However, after the divorce, Kateryna's financial situation improved, and she became the owner of an apartment in the center of Kyiv, valued at 400 thousand dollars, as well as two parking spaces, each of which is worth 4 million hryvnias, according to the state registers of StopCor.
