The head of Volyn Customs, Dmytro Stasenko, allegedly asked the NACP to remove his declarations, citing the fact that his wife is a military man. Stasenko was previously married to an employee of Kyiv Customs, Maya Ryzhevska, who in 2023 indicated the spouse's property in her declaration, and in 2024 she already mentioned only her own assets - the husband disappeared from the document.
The customs officer's current wife, Valentina (Fedko), previously worked as a physical training coach for one of the Kyiv teams and, according to the material, has relatives who worked in the SBU. Stasenko allegedly planned to move to Moscow and was looking for real estate there with an estimated value of about $500,000.
It is worth paying attention to the wealth of the customs officer's father, Igor Stasenko, head of the documentary support department of the President's Office: he has a parking space and an apartment in the Pechersk Plaza residential complex, and in 2021 he purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
In 2023, declarations were filled out by both Stasenko himself and his then-wife Maya Ryzhevska (head of customs clearance department No. 1 of the Vyshneve customs post). However, in 2024, there are no declarations by Dmytro Stasenko in the NACP register.
The issue of accessibility of information on the income and property of civil servants is of public importance and draws attention to the possible risks of opacity in the activities of officials, in particular in the customs sector.
