In the middle of the week, on March 5, spring-like warm, but rather windy weather is expected in Ukraine. In most regions, the day will be cloudy with clearings, and the temperature will gradually rise above zero. At the same time, in the east and northeast of the country, an atmospheric front will bring precipitation in the form of snow with rain.
According to weather forecasters, the weather situation in Ukraine this day will vary depending on the region. The most favorable conditions are predicted for the western regions, where the air will warm up to +9…+13 degrees during the day. At the same time, it will be cooler in the eastern regions, and the sky will remain cloudy.
In Kyiv on Thursday, cloudy weather with clearings is expected. At night, the temperature will drop to -3 degrees, and during the day the air will warm up to +6°. Similar weather will be in the central regions of the country: in Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi and Dnipro, daytime temperatures are forecast to be around +8…+9°.
In the west of the country, the temperature will be much higher. In Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, daytime temperatures are expected to be around +10°, in Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi - up to +9°. The warmest will be in Transcarpathia: in Uzhhorod, the air will warm up to +13° during the day.
Mild spring weather is also forecast in the south. In Odessa and Mykolaiv, the daytime temperature will rise to +12°, in Kherson – to +10°, in Zaporizhia – to +9°. The sky will remain cloudy with clearings.
In contrast, in the east and northeast of the country, weather conditions will be less comfortable. In Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, cloudy weather is expected, with possible sleet and rain in places. In Sumy and Kharkiv, daytime temperatures are forecast to be around +5°, in Chernihiv – up to +6°.
Thus, the beginning of March is gradually bringing spring warming to Ukraine. However, forecasters warn that weather contrasts between regions will persist for the time being: the west and south will experience real spring, while the east of the country will still be under the influence of colder air masses.
