Today, Ukrainians will have to get warm things again: spring continues to amaze with anomalous cold. According to the Ukrhydromet Center, the country contains the Arctic air, which has caused night frosts and daytime temperature, which is barely exceeding zero.
In most regions, it will be cloudy with clearings and without significant rainfall. However, wet snow or rain is possible in the south and southeast. At night, the temperature will fluctuate within 0… -5 ° C, and in the daytime- +1… +6 ° C. The warmest will be in Transcarpathia and in the southern regions - up to +8 ° C.
Especially the winter situation will be observed in the Carpathians. In the mountains at night it is possible to snow, the temperature will drop to -9 ° C, in the afternoon -0 ... -3 ° C. Despite this, no rainfall is expected.
In the Kyiv region, forecasters promise cloudy weather with clear rainfall. At night, the temperature will drop to -5 ° C, in the capital -to -4 ° C. In the afternoon, the air warms up to +6 ° C. Wind-northwest, 5–10 m/s.
Forecasters say that such weather will last for at least a few days. Warming is expected not earlier than the middle of next week, approximately after April 14.
We will remind, this year Easter in Ukraine will be celebrated on April 20. The forecasts for this period are still uncertain, but meteorologists hope that the holiday will bring with them gradual warming.
