Ukrainians will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnias from the state as part of the new winter e-Support , approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The processing of this payment will begin on December 1, 2024 and will last until the end of February 2025. Detailed conditions have been developed for the convenience of citizens, as well as to take into account the special needs of certain categories.
How to get a thousand through Action
The main way to make a payment is through the Diya . To do this, you need to follow a few simple steps:
- Open a “National Cashback” card at one of the partner banks.
- Activate the card in the Action app.
- Submit an application for payment.
For pensioners and people with disabilities, an alternative method is provided - receiving funds at Ukrposhta , along with the payment of pension or social assistance.
Who is eligible for the payment?
Winter thousand is available to all citizens of Ukraine who are in the country. For those who do not have access to the Action or do not use the RNOKPP, there is an opportunity to process the payment directly at one of the partner banks. These include:
- PrivatBank , monobank , Raiffeisen Bank ,
- Ukrgasbank , Oschadbank , FUIB and others.
How to use winter thousand
The funds received can be spent on the most necessary things:
- payment of utility bills;
- purchase of medicines or medical services;
- travel in transport;
- buying books;
- charity, in particular donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Pensioners, people with disabilities, and guardians of children can use alternative methods of receipt. In these cases, the period of use of funds is limited to the end of March 2025.
