Violating military registration rules in Ukraine can have serious consequences, from fines to entering a citizen's data into the "Oberig" registry with the status "Wanted." At the same time, paying the fine paves the way for the removal of this status, although the process takes time.
According to the law firm INSEININ, territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCK and SP) have the right to transfer information about violators to the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Enlisted Persons, and Reservists. As a result, a corresponding mark appears in the "Reserve+" application - "Wanted."
Failure to appear at the military registration and enlistment office after receiving a summons, refusal to undergo a military medical examination, or evasion of updating personal data are grounds for administrative liability. The fine for such actions ranges from 17,000 to 25,000 hryvnias, but in the event of a repeated violation or during a special period, it may be significantly higher.
After paying the fine through "Reserve+", the information is automatically transferred to the military registration and enlistment office, where changes are made to the "Oberig" registry. Removal from the wanted list does not occur instantly: it usually takes three to five business days. During this time, the status in the application may remain unchanged until the system is updated.
Thus, in order to remove the "Wanted" status in "Reserve+", a citizen must pay the assigned fine and wait for the database to be updated.
