The village of Robotyne in Zaporizhia Oblast has once again become the focus of attention after German analyst Julian Röpke reported that it had been captured by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This information sparked a wave of discussion on social media.
According to Röpke, the village, which was previously liberated by Ukraine, is now back under the control of Russian troops. However, there is no official confirmation of this information from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, a representative of the Deep State monitoring service claims that the village of Robotyne is not under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, which contradicts Röpke's statements.
The events surrounding Robotyne have also become a subject of controversy in the Ukrainian media. One of the lieutenants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using the pseudonym “Alex”, considers the information about the capture of the village to be fake and calls the German publication Bild “yellow press”.
According to the military, most of the village is effectively in a gray zone, where Russian fighters are absent. The defense forces are currently monitoring the situation and preparing for possible enemy attacks.
It was previously reported that Russian troops tried to capture the village, but all their attempts were unsuccessful.
