Who has the right to wear a military uniform
Only wearing military uniforms can only:
- Armed Forces servicemen and other military formations;
- conscripts during the meeting;
- reservists;
- cadets of military universities and lyceum students;
- people released in stock or resignation with the right to wear a form.
Which fine threatens violators
In 2019, Article 186-8 was introduced in the Code of Administrative Offenses (Code of Administrative Offenses), which establishes responsibility for the illegal wearing of military uniform. It clearly states that the use of military clothing with signs of distinguishing the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations by persons who do not have the right to do so is an offense.
For the first violation, you can get a fine of 2 550 to 3 400 UAH with confiscation of form. For repeated violation during the year: a fine of up to 6 800 UAH or community service (30-40 hours).
Even a pixel t -shirt or camouflage clothing can be a reason to check the police. In case of detection of violation, law enforcement officers delay the person to establish his or her person and draw up the necessary documents.
