Who is responsible for spoiled goods in the store: how not to become a victim of supermarket manipulation

Security guards in supermarkets and stores often assume powers that they do not legally have. Forcing buyers to pay for damaged goods is a gross violation of the law. Such situations should be handled exclusively by salespeople or store administration, not security guards, who usually work on a hired basis.

  1. Security guards have no right to demand payment
