Ukrainian singer Vladimir Dantes has criticized his colleagues who continue to advertise the brands that are still doing business in Russia. He was especially angered by the situation with Kitkat chocolate bars from Nestle.
A well-known artist published an emotional post on Telegram, which expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that many Ukrainian celebrities continue to advertise products of international companies that have not stopped in the aggressor country.
"A bunch of topists advertise" Kitkat "and other goods that have not been out of Russia.
He also spoke separately about gambling. The artist noted that nowadays Casino and Betting Advertising have filled the space, although society ignores this problem.
Dantes did not name specific names, but according to the Telegram-channel "Rain", last year the products of Nestle were advertised by such stars as Max Barsky, Klavdia Petrivna and makeup artist Yegor Andriushin.
Kitkat is a part of Nestle, which in Ukraine at one time has been on the list of international sponsors of war through continuing work in Russia. In March 2023, the Ukrainian authorities closed this registry, but the company has not stopped in the Russian Federation.
Despite the fact that Kitkat is not formally sold in the aggressor country, Nestle continues to work in the Russian market, which causes fair outrage among Ukrainians.
The post of Dantes has caused an active discussion on social networks. Some support the artist's position, calling for the boycott of companies that continue business in Russia, while others emphasize that responsibility lies not only on advertisers, but also on consumers who continue to buy these products.
