Famous Ukrainian actress Olga Sumska shared her experiences regarding her difficult relationship with her sister Natalia Sumska. The conflict between them arose against the background of Olga's daughter's choice to stay in Russia after the war in Ukraine broke out, which led to the severance of family ties.
In an interview with the program “The Incredible Truth About Stars,” Olga Sumskaya said that after a quarrel with her sister, she continues to make attempts to improve relations. “I am waiting for this call from her, and if it comes, I will be happy. I call her periodically. In my dreams, I see our meeting, and often,” the actress said.
Despite the fact that Olga is trying to be the initiator of reconciliation, Natalia does not react to her attempts. This is confirmed by the situation at the Shevchenko Prize, when during the solemn ceremony Natalia, without turning to her sister, did not greet her, which became a public moment for discussion. Olga, recalling that moment, noted: “Everyone greets, my sister does not turn her head, and everyone sees it. You can at least nod or something. How can you accept this? It hurts! I am ready to communicate, I love her as before. This is the person who brought me into this profession. This is my second mother.”.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that Olga's son, Vyacheslav Hostikoev, also entered into conflict with Natalia, condemning her behavior for remaining in Russia. Olga, in turn, supported her daughter, which only increased the tension in the family.
Despite all the difficulties, Olga remains committed to the idea of restoring relations with her sister, because for her Natalia has always been an important figure in her life. She hopes that one day they can meet again and resolve all misunderstandings.
