At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the Ukrainian aviation actively carried out strikes on the territory of the aggressor state, striking enemy logistics. Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on Facebook.
According to Ignat, Ukrainian pilots have repeatedly carried out "impertinent operations" in the airspace of the Russian Federation, in particular, in the Bryansk region. "In the first weeks of the full-scale invasion, the pilots successfully flew near Bryansk, destroying the enemy's offensive pace on its territory and destroying logistics. These were brave operations of Air Force aviation," he noted.
Ignat also emphasized that at the beginning of the conflict, Ukrainian pilots did not have any "red lines". The planes broke through enemy air defenses, destroying columns of Russian equipment and personnel. However, he admitted that for many pilots such operations became a "one-way ticket", but their actions significantly contributed to victory.
Currently, Ukrainian pilots are focused on the use of Western high-precision weapons and solving serious strategic tasks, continuing to work to ensure the security and defense of Ukraine.
