Ihor Kryvosheev: Increasing payments to encourage entry into the Armed Forces are not our methods

People's deputy from the "Servant of the People" party Ihor Kryvosheev expressed his position on the issue of encouraging volunteers to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In his statement, he emphasized that luring new recruits with large cash payments is a wrong approach that does not correspond to Ukrainian values.

This opinion was expressed by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation on the air of the Kyiv24 TV channel, TSN reports.

He noted that in Russia it is considered a norm to lure residents of "depressed" regions with large payments for a contract with the Russian army. But these are not our methods.

"Ukrainians are actually ready to fight for their land and their ideology, for the right to live freely, as free people. Accordingly, such a motivation as money will not work, even if the Western partners agree to help with this money, because this is the wrong motivation," said Ihor Kryvosheev.
