Maryna Barsuk previously decided on a number of cases related to Kolomoiskyi. According to the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, Judge Barsuk took part in rendering verdicts in two cases involving Kolomoiskyi.
The first case concerned the claim of "Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant" against "PrivatBank". In 2009, "PrivatBank" provided a loan in the amount of 36.1 million dollars to the factory, which is associated with Kolomoiskyi. 35 million dollars in debt was annulled by the decision of the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal.
The second case is related to Ukrnafta PJSC, which is also associated with Kolomoiskyi. The panel of judges, which included Barsuk, confirmed the court's decision to recover from the state budget 1.77 million hryvnias in favor of "Ukrnafta" as compensation for material losses.
In addition, Judge Barsuk considered cases concerning businessman Pavlo Fuchs, who is under sanctions.
