In Dnipro, the municipal enterprise "Development of City Territories" announced a tender for the dismantling of children's and sports grounds in various districts of the city. The total expected cost of the work exceeds 4.3 million hryvnias.
According to the terms of the procurement, the work is to be carried out in stages and will cover dozens of addresses. The dismantling is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
The tender provides for a full cycle of work: dismantling of game and sports structures, dismantling of foundations, loading and removal of construction waste, as well as its disposal. In addition, the estimate includes the costs of using specialized equipment and fuel.
This is a large-scale renovation of the city's infrastructure, but such expenses may cause debate among residents, given Dnipro's status as a frontline city and the need to finance defense and humanitarian areas.
At the same time, in such cases, the dismantling of outdated or dilapidated structures is often explained by the need to improve safety and prepare for further development of the territories.
A contractor is currently being identified to carry out the work over the next two years.
