In several cities of Ukraine, including Dnipro and Kharkiv, service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have begun massively transferring information about clients to territorial procurement centers. This is reported by the Informator publication, citing eyewitnesses to the events.
The scheme looks like this: a man comes to the service center for a standard service — for example, to register a vehicle or replace a driver's license. During the procedure, his data is checked through the information system "Oberig", which allows you to identify those who are wanted or have not updated their military registration data.
If the system detects a violation, service center employees notify the police or law enforcement officers on site. In some cases, representatives of the CCC are called directly to the service center building.
Eyewitnesses note that the reaction of the staff depends on the specific administrator. Some warn customers about a possible check and give them the opportunity to refuse the service, others act without warning. According to lawyers, the client has the right to terminate the service at any stage before the completion of the registration.
Similar cases have also been confirmed in Kharkiv, although there has been no official reaction from the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the CCC so far.
The situation has caused a mixed reaction in society - some citizens consider it an increase in control during martial law, others - a violation of human rights. Human rights activists urge citizens to know their rights and seek legal assistance in case of questionable actions by employees of state institutions.
