In Dnipro, the prosecutor is solving "issues" and putting pressure on business - journalists

While Ukraine has been without a head of the Prosecutor General's Office for five months, the subordinates of the interim leaders continue to demonstrate the style of the times of lack of control. One of the most striking examples is prosecutor Andriy Dyachenko from the Dnipropetrovsk region. His name is increasingly heard in the context of "special influence" on the courts, pressure on business, a luxurious life without appropriate declarations - and complete immunity from liability.

According to official data, there is nothing unusual in the property of prosecutor Andriy Dyachenko. But as journalists found out, the official's family lives in a three-story building in Dnipro, and Dyachenko himself regularly uses luxury cars: Lexus, Audi, BMW, KIA. All of them are either owned by the prosecutor's sister or by people close to him. His sister, according to open sources, works as a hairdresser in the village, but has registered property worth millions of hryvnias.

According to sources in the regional prosecutor's office, Andriy Dyachenko closely cooperates with the Kryvyi Rih district court in a format called "contractual." The prosecutor, he said, knows what decision will be made even before the meeting. Everything is done with the tacit consent of the leadership of the regional prosecutor's office, including acting prosecutor Serhiy Bizhko.

No less odious in this tandem is the prosecutor of the Slobozhansk District Prosecutor's Office, Oleg Kateba. According to available information, together with Dyachenko, they are implementing schemes to pressure businesses in the Dnipropetrovsk district. Kateba is already involved in criminal proceedings, but despite this, he is still in office - only his deputy was dismissed. All this looks like a classic example of a circular guarantee.

According to journalists, Dyachenko also has influence over officials of the Dnipro City Council. Using criminal proceedings as a tool of pressure, the prosecutor supposedly receives a systematic "bonus" from Borys Filatov's people. Of course, this is not officially recorded in any way.
