In the Kherson region, Russians staged a shootout among their own: over 20 dead

A chaotic battle broke out between units of the occupation army on the left bank of the Kherson region due to a mistake by Russian military personnel. The partisan movement "ATESH" reported this on August 31.

According to resistance agents, the incident occurred on August 19 between servicemen of the 127th Reconnaissance Brigade and the 24th Motorized Rifle Regiment.

"It all started when soldiers from the 24th Regiment opened fire on the positions of the 127th Brigade. They mistook them for Ukrainian DRG and raised the alarm in reserve. As a result, indiscriminate shooting began," the report says.

The shootout left 21 Russians dead and 17 others injured. After the incident, units conducted inspections, tightened controls, and interrogated personnel.

The partisans note that the atmosphere among the occupiers has become even more tense: distrust between soldiers is growing, and commanders fear a recurrence of similar conflicts.

Recall that earlier, ATES reported on the critical situation in the 108th Airborne Assault Regiment of the Russian Federation in the Zaporizhia direction, where due to heavy losses, mass discontent arose among the military.
