In Kyiv, a drunk 21-year-old man crashed a car in the courtyard of a high-rise building

In the Dnipro district of the capital, an unknown person damaged a parked car by climbing onto its roof and breaking the windshield. The incident was reported to the capital's police.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred in the yard of a house on Enthusiasts Street. A local resident called the 102 hotline and reported that an unknown man was jumping on a car, kicking the glass, tearing off the mirror, and deflating the tires.

The investigative and operational group of the Dnipro Police Department quickly arrived at the scene. As Deputy Chief of the Police Department Vadym Boloto said, within an hour the patrols found and detained the offender in accordance with Article 298-2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The detained person was a 21-year-old Kyiv resident. According to police, the man was intoxicated and explained that he "did not control himself due to excessive alcohol consumption."

Investigators have already charged the young man with suspicion under Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - gross violation of public order. For such actions, he faces up to five years in prison.
