In Kyiv, collectors were hired to collect utility debts

In Kyiv, municipal services have begun to attract collection companies to work with debtors for utility services. As TSN reports, the first such tender was held in the Obolonskyi district of the capital.

The winner of the competition was Antanta Consulting LLC, with which a contract worth about UAH 1.5 million was signed. The agreement will be valid until the end of 2025.

Collectors will have access to the debtor database and will use standard methods of influence: phone calls, SMS messages, and personal visits.

The decision is explained by the increase in debt after the increase in tariffs for house maintenance. Some Kyiv residents refuse to pay the new charges, considering them inflated, which forces utility companies to take stricter measures.
