A scandalous incident occurred in the capital: three men who introduced themselves as military personnel ordered more than 5,500 hryvnias at a restaurant and refused to pay. The owner of the establishment, Natalia Pogromska, considers the situation an abuse of the status of a defender and publicly spoke about it on social networks.
According to her, three customers ordered alcoholic beverages (tequila, rum, beer), juices and expensive seafood appetizers, including tortillas with shrimp and turkey. Two of them left the restaurant, while the third stayed and stated that he was a military man and did not have the money to pay.

“These three guys are military! And do you know what they did? They decided not to pay their bill because they are military!” Pogromska wrote indignantly. She also noted that her establishment always supports and treats representatives of emergency services, military, and volunteers, but demands justice and social protection for business employees.

Additional outrage was caused by the police's reaction: according to the businesswoman, law enforcement officers stated that they "couldn't do anything," which only increased her frustration with the situation.
Pogromska asked a rhetorical question: “How can we sincerely support the meetings and donate after something like this?” Indeed, such cases cast a shadow over true defenders who conscientiously fulfill their duty.
