In Lviv, a family was poisoned by carbon monoxide, the child was hospitalized

On the night of Saturday, August 23, a carbon monoxide accident occurred in an apartment on Gazova Street in Lviv. A family with a three-year-old child was injured and was hospitalized at St. Nicholas Hospital.

According to the LODA Civil Protection Department, the poisoning was reported at around 3:00 a.m. The incident occurred in an apartment on the second floor of a two-story building at 10 Gazova Street.

The three-year-old boy is in moderate condition. His parents suffered minor poisoning and remain under medical supervision.

Rescuers and the gas company responded to the scene and shut off the gas supply to the apartment. Specialists are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Experts remind residents of the need to regularly inspect gas appliances and follow safety rules when using them to avoid similar incidents.
