In Odesa, the commander of one of the military units was detained, who systematically demanded combat pay from his subordinates. As reported by the police, the officer forced the servicemen to give him 30% of the funds received.

According to the investigation, the 31-year-old commander collected levies for seven months, claiming that it was for the needs of the military unit. For example, to repair equipment. Those who refused to pay were threatened with problems, up to being sent to the front.

In this way, he "earned" more than 400 thousand hryvnias. He was detained while receiving the "tribute" for December in the amount of 41,000. UAH

He was sent to custody with the right to post bail.
