A tragic incident involving children occurred in the city of Sambir, Lviv region. According to police, a 6-year-old boy accidentally shot his 4-year-old cousin in the head with an air rifle.

According to preliminary information, the children were playing in their grandmother's pantry, where they found an unlocked gun. During the game, an accidental shot was fired.

The girl was urgently hospitalized, and doctors confirm that there is no threat to her life.

Law enforcement has launched an investigation to determine why the weapons were within reach of children. The issue of holding adults accountable for negligence is also being addressed.
