Demand for gasoline is increasing in some regions of Ukraine due to massive Russian attacks on energy facilities

Due to massive attacks by the Russian Federation on energy facilities in some regions of Ukraine, demand for gasoline is increasing, says Serhiy Kuyun, director of the A-95 consulting company

“There is already additional demand for gasoline in certain regions (Kharkiv, Odesa). Owners of gas station chains confirm that with these attacks on the energy sector, their sales have increased. If the power outages are global and affect all regions, of course this demand will be much greater,” Kuyun told Glavkom in a comment.

According to the expert, increased demand will not lead to an increase in fuel prices, since the price is affected by a shortage, which currently does not exist in Ukraine.
