According to the investigation, Lyudmila Marchenko, together with her assistant Anastasia Kolesnyk, agreed to enter a man of draft age into the “Shlyakh” system, which allows him to legally cross the state border in wartime, in exchange for a monetary reward.
The witness testified in court that he gave the bribe to the assistant in two installments of $3,000 each. Thus, the total amount of the illegal gain was $6,000.

The case is being considered by the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court. It concerns not only the fact of bribery, but also abuse of deputy status and participation in schemes for men to travel abroad to circumvent military restrictions.
