Ukraine has updated the rules for reserving military personnel — now companies will be able to keep more people on the job. As reported by "Diya", those mobilized after May 18, 2024, provided they are officially employed, have been added to the total number of employees subject to reservation.
“For example, if the enterprise employed 80 conscripts, and 40 of them could be reserved, and later another 20 mobilized ones were added, then the total number of such employees increases to 100. Accordingly, 50 can already be reserved,” explained “Diya”.
The new rules also make it clear that people who already have reservations with another company are no longer included in the calculation. This eliminates duplication and allows for more accurate determination of actual booking limits.
The update was an important step for Ukrainian businesses, which are striving to retain key professionals in their workplaces in times of mobilization.
