A brutal attack was made on a judge of the Industrial District Court in Dnipro. Three unknown men in balaclavas, driving a car without license plates, attacked the woman right outside her house, inflicting severe head injuries and using pepper spray. The attackers also tried to kidnap the judge.
Fortunately, the victim's husband prevented the unknown assailants from dragging her into the car, but he was also beaten. The judge is currently in serious condition.
The Council of Judges of Ukraine has appealed to law enforcement agencies to strengthen the protection of judges' personal data and their security due to the growing number of such incidents.
Law enforcement officers are conducting investigative actions to identify the attackers and clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
