Famous Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovsky served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. As reported by the Land Forces Command, by order of the Chief of the General Staff dated May 23, 2024, he was appointed to the position of a reserve soldier of the 3rd reserve platoon of the 90th reserve company of the military unit A4718. The artist arrived at the unit on June 17, 2024.
Kozlovsky's main task as a reserve soldier was to undergo training and prepare to replace servicemen on the front line if necessary. He also gave concerts in units to raise the morale and fighting spirit of the military. The singer did not take direct part in the country's defense activities.
On June 28, 2024, Vitaliy Kozlovsky was discharged to the reserve due to family circumstances - the need to care for a disabled family member. His last service position was the 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that earlier in an interview with Marichka Padalko, Kozlovsky said that he was engaged in patronage service with his comrades. Then the presenter clarified whether this meant that he was sent for this by his commanders, Vitaliy replied: “You could say so.” However, the Land Forces reported that after his dismissal from military unit A4718, Vitaliy Kozlovsky is not engaged in patronage service.
