The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported the destruction of a Russian radar station and equipment used by the Russian Federation army for attacks on southern Ukraine. The special operation, codenamed "Citadel", was conducted near the coast of occupied Crimea.
According to the special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , the operation took place in the area of constant patrol of the Russian Federation's aviation and navy. At night, boats of the 73rd Naval Center for Special Operations (SSO) approached the radar station. After special operations and clearing of the facility, it was mined, and then the explosive device was activated. As a result of the operation, important enemy equipment was captured and the radar station was destroyed.
