People's Deputy Larysa Bilozir reported that another 3.7 million men aged 25 and over are potentially subject to mobilization in Ukraine. She made this statement on Noviny.LIVE .
According to the People's Deputy, out of the total number of men:
- 1.2 million have already been mobilized.
- 600,000 have reservations and cannot be called up.
- 1.5 million are declared unfit for service.
Bilozir noted that many men are in temporarily occupied territories or have gone abroad.
The deputy also drew attention to the active discussion of the idea of lowering the mobilization age to 18. According to her, such an initiative causes indignation in society.
“Now mothers are taking young people out of the villages. Someone has already lost their eldest son at the front and is afraid for their younger one,” she noted.
A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevhen Ievlev, expressed the opinion that lowering the mobilization age could help stabilize the front, but noted that such an idea is not supported in society due to the reluctance to send relatives to war.
