The weather in Ukraine will remain relatively stable in the coming days, but a noticeable cold snap is possible at the end of December. Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported this on her Facebook page.
According to her, no significant changes in weather conditions are expected before Christmas, but a fresher and colder air mass may enter Ukraine starting approximately from December 26. During the day, the air temperature may drop to slight "minus", and at night the frosts will intensify to -5...-11 degrees.
At the same time, Natalka Didenko emphasized that this is a long-term forecast that still needs to be clarified, as the weather forecast situation may change.
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, no significant precipitation is forecast in Ukraine until December 18, as well as on the 19th and 20th. The weather will remain calm and almost unchanged. At night, the temperature will range from +3° to -3°, and during the day from 0° to +6°. In Transcarpathia, Prykarpattia, and in the southern regions, it will be warmer - from +4° to +10°.
Forecaster Natalia Ptukha also noted that the current warming will likely persist until approximately December 21. After that, calculations indicate a possible gradual decrease in air temperature. At the same time, she emphasized that it is still too early to talk about exact temperature indicators or guaranteed cooling.
Thus, Ukrainians can expect several days of calm and relatively warm weather for December, and closer to the Christmas holidays, they should be prepared for the return of frost.
