A gradual and steady increase in temperatures is expected across Ukraine this week. According to forecaster Ihor Kibalchych, warm air will enter the country, contributing to noticeable warming in most regions.
The most intense temperature increase is predicted in the western and southwestern regions. Here, the beginning of meteorological spring can already be recorded. During the daytime, under clear weather conditions, the air will warm up in places above +10 °C. At the same time, a cooler regime will remain in the northeast with an average daily temperature of about 0 °C.
Precipitation is expected to be mostly light throughout the week. Fog is possible in some places, and roads and sidewalks will remain slippery due to ice.

At the beginning of the week, moderate snow and sleet are forecast in the western, northern and central regions, with some turning into rain. There will be no significant precipitation in the rest of the territory. There will be ice on the roads, fog is possible in some places on the Right Bank. The daytime temperature will be +1…+6 °C, in the north of the Left Bank about 0 °C.

On Tuesday, precipitation is expected throughout the country: snow and sleet, in the south and west - with rain. Fog and mist are possible in places. Roads will remain slippery. Temperature at night -3...+2 °C, during the day +1...+6 °C, in Transcarpathia - up to +8 °C.
Weather February 25
On Wednesday night, light snow and sleet are forecast, in the south - with rain. Dry weather will prevail during the day, only in the east light sleet is possible. Ice will remain in most of the territory. Wind 5–10 m/s. Temperature at night -3…+2 °C, during the day -1…+4 °C, in Transcarpathia - up to +7 °C.
According to forecasters, the week will be warmer overall, but with periodic precipitation and gusty winds. In particular, on February 23, the wind may increase in the west, north, and center to storm gusts of 15–20 m/s, while in the south and east it will be more moderate.
