Agricultural land became cheaper in Ukraine in September 2025. According to Opendatabot, the average cost per hectare was UAH 62,011, which is more than UAH 2,000 less than in August.
Analysts note that this year the highest land prices were recorded in April - 71,876 UAH/ha, and the lowest - in March (54,599 UAH/ha).
Land sales volumes
In September, 10,071 hectares were sold, which is more than 10,000 hectares less than a month earlier. At the same time, this figure may still increase, since the month is not over.
The largest number of deals was concluded in February - 27,572 hectares, and the smallest in January - 10,346 hectares.
How much does a hectare of land cost in the regions?
Prices per hectare of land by region range from UAH 34,239 to UAH 174,078.

The most expensive land is in Ternopil region (174,078 UAH/ha), as well as in Lviv (154,985 UAH/ha), Ivano-Frankivsk (126,653 UAH/ha) and Kyiv (103,215 UAH/ha).

The cheapest land is in Kherson region (34,239 UAH/ha), as well as in Zaporizhia (36,216 UAH/ha), Mykolaiv (38,065 UAH/ha), Sumy (38,478 UAH/ha), Odessa (38,836 UAH/ha) and Dnipropetrovsk (39,874 UAH/ha).
Is it worth buying land?
