Ukraine expands free dental services program

Some categories of Ukrainians can receive free dental services. The National Social Service reported that the government has expanded the list of persons entitled to such assistance.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision adding new categories of citizens to the program of free dental care and dental prosthetics.

From now on, this opportunity will be available to:

  • persons released from captivity;

  • foreign military personnel and stateless persons serving under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense, the State Special Transport Service, and the National Guard.

Previously, only certain categories of people were entitled to free dental treatment — war veterans, injured combatants, pensioners, and socially vulnerable citizens. Now, the circle of beneficiaries has been expanded, which, according to the government, will contribute to the social protection of those who suffered from the war or joined the defense of Ukraine.
