A tragedy occurred in a village in the Khmilnytsia district of the Vinnytsia region - a 29-year-old woman died from her injuries. According to police, the incident occurred on May 14 while she was drinking alcohol with a 44-year-old acquaintance.
A conflict arose between the participants of the feast, which escalated into violence. During the argument, the man hit the woman on the torso with a metal stick. From the injuries she received, she lost consciousness and died in the ambulance.
The police promptly detained the attacker. He has already been charged under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional grievous bodily harm, which caused the death of the victim.
The man faces up to 10 years in prison for what he did. The investigation is ongoing.
